Bridge to Bridge Water Ski Classic.

Last year on November 22nd, the crew of Victorian Superclass Boat "Hellbent" with driver Mark Cranny, observer Damian Mathews, & skiers Daniel Campbell, & Grant Patterson, won the prestigious Bridge to Bridge Water Ski Classic, which is the longest 1 way water ski race in the world. Competitors come from all parts of the Globe to try their luck at this grueling 112 km 2 up ski race, which starts at Dangar Island, in the lower reaches of the Hawkesbury River near Brooklyn. This race attracts competitors from 5 years old to over 70s. The team favoured to win the 2006 race was "Stinga" but they were plagued with mechanical problems, which cut short their winning streak, which would have made it 4 years in a row. If anything is going to go wrong then this is the race, where it is going to happen, so this time it was the very happy & dedicated team of "Hellbent" that greeted the finish line and received a very popular victory presentation on the banks of the mighty Hawkesbury River at Windsor Marine Stadium. The photos show the finish & the happy team after the 41.06 minute journey.

Some very exciting news for our company. We have been selected as the Australian Agents for Advanced Aquatics, who are World leaders in the field of Aquatic Equipment such as, Weed Harvesters & a host of Dredges. Here is a photo of Plus One, driven by Pat Bourke, on the Hawkesbury river at Sackville on it's way to winning the 1983 Bridge to Bridge Power Boat Race, this record win stood until 1998 when it was broken by Ricky Howard.

This is a photo of Kelvin Black, driving The Axe in the Bridge to Bridge Water Ski Classic, with Grant Patterson skiing with James Buser & Darren Patterson observing, the helicopter in the photo had trouble keeping with them at 110 miles per hour.

More news, our entire family, the men that is & 3 good mates went on a deep sea fishing adventure, with one of my personal friends & Narwee Old Boy, Ross Hunter,( reputedly one of the best charter Captains & Marlin Fishermen in the World,) who owns & runs gamefishingcharters.com.au, the boat is "Broadbill". I have been wanting to do this for some time, so we went on the 17th & 18th March up to Port Stephens. Saturday was good weather & my son Grant caught the only marlin for the weekend, a 100kilo plus, 2.4 meter, striped, which was bought up to the boat & then released. This is the normal practise on almost all of the Game Fishing boats, so these beautiful fish live to fight another day. Sunday was very rough & all we did all day was drop fish, including a big shark. A pod of Dolphins came alongside the boat & played for almost an hour, giving us the greatest private acrobatic show I have ever seen. A great time was had by the boys & we all look forward to our next outing with Ross. These photos tell it like it was. The crew consisted of Ross the Sea Urchin, Captain, John, the human bollard, deckie, Mates, David, Junior, Ricie, son's Darren & Grant & Patto.

Last & probably least, here is a photo of our Managing Director with his favourite "Macaque Monkey" " Jerry" on his shoulder, Ray has many hobbies & his love & dedication to his beloved monkeys is well documented.
